You will also visit Todgha Gorges (the narrowest and the highest in Morocco) and Dades Valley. You will also have a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site and Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa). Drive back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains and high pass of Tizi N’Tichka.

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
From the hotel/Riad, you will be picked up before we start our journey. We will travel through the beautiful city Ifrane and stop at the Cedar Forest. It the largest forest in Morocco. It is a home of Monkeys and different kinds of birds. We proceed with our day via Tizi Ntalghamt pass before we arrive at Midelt and drive along the fascinating Ziz Gorges. On the way, you will admire the wonderful and scenery Middle Atlas Mountains before we reach Errachidia. Having lunch is followed by continuing the journey to our destination going through Ziz Valley, Erfoud, Rissani. You will warmly welcomed with a glass of mint tea after you arrive at Merzouga. Leaving the luggage in a room, you will experience a camel excursion to camp in the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. The dunes of Erg Chebbi are over 220 meters high. After one hour and half riding camels and appreciating the wonderful saand dunes, we will reach our camping place. The night will be spent in a 3 Berber tents. They are equiped with a tradtional restaurant and kitchen and alll the needed facilities (mattresses, blankets, and crushions). We will be gathered around the campfire after having dinner to enjoy traditional Berber drums being played.
Day 2: Merzouga erea- culture and tradition
The seconds day of the tour will be devoted to explore the are of Erg Chebbi. After having breakfast, you will visit the village of Khamila where you will be able to observe people’s culture and lifestyle. You will also have the chance to share a mint tea and listen to Gnawa music with a nomad family. The journey continues to visit Merzouga’s lake where too many kinds of birds live such as the Flamingos. After that, we will make our way toward the small town of Rissani. It was named Sijilmassa before. It was a place where caravans of salt used to meet to trade coming from Timbiktu, Mali. You will have a Berber Pizza for lunch before we drive back to the Riad in Merzouga where camels will be waiting for us to ride. The uncessary luggage will be left in Merzouga in safe rooms before we start our camel excursion to camp in the middle of the Erg Chebbi desert. You will spend a wonderful night in comfortable nomad tent providing you with all the needed facilities. Dinner is served before we gather around the campfire to enjoy the music and the Berber drums.
Day 3: Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Dades Valley
In the early morning, the camelman will wake you up to witness the lovely sunrise over the high sand dunes near the camp. Later on, you will ride camel back to your hotel. On the way, you will enjoy the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi. At the hotel, you will have breakfast and take a refreshing shower before the journey continues to visit other places. Leaving Merzouga, you will head to Tinghir, Todgha Gorges (the narrowest and highest gorges in Morocco) before we reach Dades valley where you will have dinner and spend the overnihght at your accommodation.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas mountain – Marrakech
Today, we will travel through Dades Valley, and the wonderful Kalaat Maagouna (the Valley of Roses) before we reach Ouarzazate. During your journey, you will have the cances to take pictures and enjoy the Road of Thousand Kasbahs, Valley of Roses, Soura village where the amzing palm trees. Ouarzazate is also nicknamed the Hollywood of Africa. 35 kilometers away from Ouarzazate, you will visit Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is the famous Kasbah in Morocco and listed as one of the UNEESCO’s world heritage sites. After that, we proceed with our tour to to Marrakech traveling through Tizi N’Tichka. It is 2260 mters high over the Grand Atlas Mountains. During the journey, we will enjoy a break to enjopy the breathtaking landscapes and views and the cooperative of Argan oil.
In the late afternoon, we will arrive at Marrakech where 4 Days Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour comes to an end.
