This is the itinerary of the Marrakech to Sahara Desert 2 days:

Day 1: Marrakech – High  Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Zagora – Camel ride and night in Berber tent

 Your 2 days trip from marrakech to zagora start departs around 8am, you will picked up from your accommodation. You will be driven to Zagora traveling through the Grand Atlas Mountains and the pass of Tizi N’Tichka. This famus pass is 2260 meters high over the Grand Atlas Mountains. During your 2 days from marrakech to zagora journey, you will admire the wonderful landscapes and the several Berber villages,  before we reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is a world heritage site by UNESCO. It has been a place to film many Hollywood movies such as Gladiator, and The Mumy. You will have enough free time for lunch in the village of Ait Ben Haddou.

From here, we will continue the journey 2 day sahara tour from marrakech to Zagora. We will drive through Anti Atlas Mountains which offer many wonderful views to take some picture during our breaks on the road. We will reach Zagora about 5pm after two hours of driving. We will ride camels to camp in the desert. Over the sand dunes of Zagora, you will enjoy the amazing  sunset. After dinner in a nomad tent, you will enjoy a small concert of Berber music with drums. Your local desert nomads hosts will be playing singing local folklore music until around midnight. You will spend the night under the endless stars in the heart of the desert.

Day 2 :  Zagora –  Draa Valley – Anti Atlas – Ouarzazate – High Atlas  – Marrakech

The following day of  the marrakech desert trip 2 days, you will wake early enough to admire the breathtaking sunrise near the camping place. After that, we will ride camels back to Zagora  before we drive towards the amzing Draa Valley. You will have some breaks on the way to admire the wonderful views and landscapes before we stop to take some photos of the longest river in Morocco in Draa Valley. The journey 2 day marrakech desert tour continues to visit Tourirt Kasbah, the Film Studios Museum (optional) in Ouarzazate after traveling via the Anti Atlas. After that, we will make our way back to Marrakech traveling through the pass of Tizi N’Tichka where you have lunch. We will reach Marrakech, where we treansfer you to your accommodation. Your Marrakech desert tours 2 days will end  at about 19h00 in the summer and 20h00 in the winter.
